Landscape Painting from Life

Plein Air Landscape: Design and Color

This class will be conducted in and around the village of Spring City located in central Utah. Pioneer homsteads, farm scenes and spring blooms will be the inspirational subject matter for design and color lessons en plein air. A day of still life will be considered in the event of bad weather. The tuition includes lodging.



New Mexico Landscapes

This workshop will be conducted in the Rociada Valley which features broad views of pastures and mountains. Students will be housed in the Pendaries Lodge (www.pendaries.com) . Painting on location students will be tutored in the use of design, values and color to interpret nature. Instructor demos and critiques.



Painting the Autumn in Wine Country

Location: Willow Creek Farm, Paso Robles, CA

Workshop Dates: 10/31/2005 - 11/4/2005

This landscape painting class will be conducted on the Willow Creek Farm property as well as neighboring properties with the possibility of a venture to the sea for a day of seascape painting. Students will be tutored in the discipline and proper use of design, color and values to interpret the landscape. Lodging and gourmet meals are on the Willow Creek Farm.
